New Biomedical Engineering Administrative Assistant

Katie Moulton is the new Department of Biomedical Engineering's Administrative Assistant. Katie started work on January 15, 2009.

New Program Manager for the School of Engineering & Applied Science's Nano Research Facility

Effective March 1, 2009, Amy Sears will become the Program Manager for the School of Engineering & Applied Science's Nano Research Facility. For the past year, Amy has served as the School's Event Coordinator.

The School's new Nano Research Facility will cultivate an open and shared research environment and bring researchers across disciplines together to work in the emerging field of nanomaterials, particularly in the energy, environment, and biomedical areas. Beginning March 1, the Nano Research Facility will be part of the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN), which is supported by the National Science Foundation. Amy will report to Dr. Dong Qin, the School of Engineering & Applied Science's Associate Dean for Research and National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network Site Director. Amy will assist Dr. Qin in providing support for the business operations and education programs of the Nano Research Facility.
