Engineering IT On-call and Support Procedures
In 2007, the Engineering IT (EIT) support group was formed. This group is composed of several legacy IT support groups and is now responsible for providing IT services and support for the entire Engineering School
We realize that there were several different, but functional procedures for reporting problems or requesting services from the former IT support teams. Building on this good work, we have blended these local methods into a new, Engineering School-wide EIT procedure. Going forward, this procedure will replace all former procedures.
We have installed an incident tracking. Using email to request service or help (support@seas.wustl.edu) will automatically generate a ticket. This will enable tracking and reporting on incident status. A call or email directly to a support person will also generate a ticket if the question isn't answered immediately while on the call. An interim system is in place; however the full tracking and reporting capability is still being developed.
We have created a document to cover the procedure for requesting services from or reporting problems to Engineering IT. Please save or print this document for your reference.

SIS Access and Reporting Users
Do you have any level of interest in attending a benefits-covered evening or summer course in ACCESS? (*perhaps* one that would even use WU tables as references for class training and homework/exercises if possible)
Tom Evola has volunteered to pursue options for creating a formal course offering, sponsored by either University College, Engineering evening programs, CAIT, Information Technology, etc. There may be a need for a "basics review" course, as well as an "advanced" course. If you have any interest in a formal course offering in ACCESS of some kind, send an email to Tom Evola.
