The Career Center Fall Chicago Road Show
On October 18-19, The Career Center staff accompanied eight engineering students to Chicago for the 2007 Fall Chicago Road Show. Students had the opportunity to visit Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Underwriters Laboratories Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago and Verizon Wireless.
Students visited the companies for company overviews, tours, informational interviews and networking opportunities. The purposes of the Career Center's Road Shows are to expose students to industry and company culture as well as extra preparation for career development. Each Road Show also includes an alumni dinner for students to network with Washington University alumni in various cities.
