Upcoming Events

Cultural Brown Bag Luncheons

All School of Engineering staff members are invited to short film showings and/or discussions on cultural or artistic topics to be scheduled on the first Wednesday of even numbered months.

In October, we viewed "Engineering Student Services Video Surprises" - film footage produced by a few staff members from their "younger days." Chris Kroeger and Tobin Harris revealed their early cinematic prowess.

The purpose is just a chance to see people in a new context, and to get together to share a laugh or two. We will hold these "brown bag" sessions on the 1st Wednesday of each even numbered month, each time trying to include some culturally interesting film, book, topic, or discussion. If you have ideas or suggestions for future "Cultural Brown Bags" please e-mail Tom Evola. Locations for these luncheons will vary, but e-mail reminders will precede each event.
