The National Society of Professional Engineers has named Bob Becnel (MSEE 2003), P.E., to its 2008 class of Fellow Members. The Fellow membership grade honors those active NSPE members who have demonstrated exemplary service to the profession, the Society and the community. Becnel has been active with National Society of Professional Engineers for over 15 years and served as chair of the prestigious Professional Engineers in Industry and NSPE Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the St. Louis Section of IEEE and was recently elected as a NSPE St. Louis Chapter officer. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and dual bachelor's degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
