Don't get caught in traffic on your way to work. Washington University created a Web site with current I-64 construction information.

Cultural Brown Bag Luncheons

All School of Engineering staff members are invited to short film showings and/or discussions on cultural or artistic topics to be scheduled on the first Wednesday of even numbered months.

August topic was "Laughter in the Work Place" and Tom Evola showed a 20 minute Charlie Chaplin film. Tobin Harris and others will show their cinematic talents for the October topic, "Engineering Student Services Staff Video Surprises."

Locations for these luncheons will vary, but e-mail reminders will precede each event. If you have any questions or ideas, please contact Tom Evola at (314) 935-4577.


United Way Event

Dean Sutera will speak at the School of Engineering United Way Kickoff Event on Monday, October 6.

Engineering faculty and staff will be invited to the Danforth University Center for a special reception. Please check your e-mail for more updates on this annual event. If you would like be part of the planning committee for United Way events, please contact Amy Sears.
