Free Tutoring for Engineering Undergraduates

The environment in the School of Engineering is designed to foster a collegial and supportive atmosphere that encourages everyone to succeed.

For each engineering course, undergraduate students may receive up to four hours per week of free one-on-one tutoring. The School also provides free tutoring for math, chemistry, and physics courses that are required for an engineering degree.

Students are strongly encouraged to utilize the upperclassmen tutors early as another way to learn and build a stong academic foundation. Tutoring should not be viewed as a last resort to salvage a grade.

"The difference between doing well and doing great usually boils down to the effort involved. Meeting with a tutor is a good way to expend effort without frustration." - Greg Galloway, Electrical Engineering
