Explore Engineering

The School of Engineering & Applied Science invites local high school juniors and seniors interested in math and science to apply to a free, one-day, hands-on introduction to engineering on campus.

High school participants will work alongside college students and professors on exciting engineering projects designed to promote critical thinking.

The School of Engineering & Applied Science aims to encourage diversity in the field of engineering. Students from underrepresented backgrounds (African-American, Latino, Native American, those from underprivileged backgrounds and women) are encouraged to apply.

Washington University in St. Louis is accessible via MetroLink. Passengers should use the Skinker station to visit the School of Engineering & Applied Science.

  • Local high school juniors and seniors (as of fall 2013) are eligible to apply.
  • Participants from Explore Engineering 2012 are not eligible.
