Wute.vc, a student group at Washington University, is launching a venture capital-oriented lecture series.
The lectures will be designed to allow students to hear testimonies from venture capitalists and seasoned entrepreneurs regarding their fundraising experiences.

St. Louis venture capital fund Cultivation Capital is a founding sponsor of wute.vc, and Cultivation Capital General Partner and WUSTL Senior Lecturer Cliff Holekamp serves as an adviser to the group.
Philip Thomas is director of wute.vc. Thomas is a 21-year-old senior at Washington University who is majoring in systems engineering and physics. He also works for Cultivation Capital as an analyst and is a founder of two startups — the Food Trucks Near Me website (which is exactly what you would think), and Automation Kit, a software company focused on helping companies automate their digital marketing.
