2019 Mindlin Lecture

The WashU Engineering community is invited to attend the 2019 Mindlin Lecture, hosted as part of EnWeek, on Thursday, Feb. 21, in room 200 of the Knight Center. A reception will precede the event at 4:30 p.m. with the presentation scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Complimentary parking will be available.

Ryan Johns, BSCS '06 MSCS '08, co-founder and chief technology officer of KeepTruckin, will present "Delayed Gratification: Lessons Learned Building a Tech Startup." Johns will recap his career in tech startups from initial founding into the growth phases, highlighting the lessons he learned along the way and demonstrating how staying committed to your beliefs can be extremely rewarding.
