The chapter is working with the non-governmental organization Engineers in Action, based out of La Paz, Bolivia, to design a gravity fed distribution system to reduce the distance community members travel to access water. Five members from the local chapter traveled to Bolivia in October 2015 collect more data, present preliminary designs and continue the relationship with the local community. The chapter's goal is to implement the water distribution project in the spring of 2016.
