WUTE Mini Hackathon - 'Thrift Engineering'

  • "Thrift Engineering" is based on problems facing the developing world and, as part of your project submission, you will be asked for a financial justification of why your idea is cheaper or more cost effective than existing alternatives.
  • Venture analysts from the Skandalaris Center and some volunteers from Engineers Without Borders and Engineering World Health will be attending the event to help you refine your ideas.
  • Our first place and second place submissions will receive a $100 and $50 Amazon gift card, respectively.
  • No experience is necessary to enter.
