What played into your decision to get a graduate engineering degree?
I want to continue to develop my passion for the construction industry with a focus on leadership development in order to better position myself for advancement opportunities within my career program

Why did you pick WashU?
One of the main reasons why I picked Washington University was because of the several great recommendations on the Masters of Construction Management program from peers and mentors at Boeing.

What was your favorite course and why?
Fundamentals in Construction Management. Steve Bannes does a great job of going through the fundamentals but also makes you look at them in a different perspective and think creatively with utilizing basic practices.

Who is your favorite instructor and why?
Steve Bannes. His delivery method. His real world experience in the construction field as well as consulting gives him an advantage of being able to tell a story that directly relates to course material.

What advice would you give to a new student?  
Be present and take your time!

What is your favorite thing about St. Louis?
The small businesses, restaurants, and entrepreneurs in St Louis.

Are you presently in the workforce or have any work history?
Yes, I am currently a Facilities Project Manager with Boeing St Louis.

What are your plans for the future?
Being a young professional in my field, I want to continue mastering skills and strategies that can directly benefit me and my team in the workforce. I plan to develop communicating with excellence and exemplifying leadership to help shine the light on diversity within construction management.
