Engineering Student Recognition Ceremony
Field House, Athletic Complex
1:30 p.m.

Students (undergraduate, graduate and PhD) should arrive for lineup before 12:45 p.m. on the elevated track in Sumers​ Recreation Center. Upon arrival, students should obtain a name card and complete a graduate survey (if not already done on-line), then stay in their department area to prepare for procession. Master's students should wear hoods. PhD students should carry their hoods.

Students can fill out the WashU Career Center post-graduation survey.

  • Wear caps and gowns to both ceremonies.
  • Tassel colors
    • Orange (Engineering)
    • Royal Blue (Eng PhD)
  • Tassel sides
    • Right (Undergrads)
    • Left (Grad students)

Diplomas for undergraduate and graduate students will be distributed in Lopata Hall immediately following the All-University Commencement Ceremony.

After 3 p.m. on Friday, diplomas may be picked up in the Office of Student Records.

Diplomas not picked-up by the end of May will be mailed to students in June.
