Bayly, Rudy receive continued funding for research

Philip Bayly and Yoram Rudy have each received renewals of ongoing research grants from the National Institutes of Health.

Bayly, the Lilyan and E. Lisle Hughes Professor and Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, received a three-year, $1.34 million renewal of his grant titled “In Vivo Measurement of Brain Biomechanics.” The grant funds years seven through nine of the research.

Rudy, the Fred Saigh Distinguished Professor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, received a three-year, $1.1 million renewal of his grant titled “Cardiac Excitation and Arrhythmias. The grant funds years 22-24 of the research.
