Doctoral student wins award from American Academy of Environmental Engineers

Ahmed Abokifa, a doctoral student in energy, environmental & chemical engineering, has received the Innovyze Excellence in Computational Hydraulics/Hydrology Award for 2018 from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. The award is given annually to a student whose research contributes to the knowledge pool of in the area of computational hydraulics and hydrology. The award is based on original, innovative research of publishable quality. Abokifa’s award will be presented April 19 in Washington, D.C.
