The McKelvey Engineering Virtual Career Spotlight is a niche recruiting event designed to connect the engineers, scientists, and hiring managers at your company with top WashU engineering talent. You'll also have the opportunity to hear an update from the Dean and participate in a virtual faculty panel prior to the event to learn about new research initiatives, innovative ways to collaborate, and ask questions about best practices for connecting with our students!
Meet hundreds of BS, MS, and PhD students in the areas of:
Computer Science & Engineering
Electrical & Systems Engineering
Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science
Last year, more than 900 engineering students participated in the event. With the competitive market for engineers and scientists, companies that regularly participate in recruitment events have a marked advantage in recruiting our engineering students for co-ops, internships and full-time employment. It is important to build your pipeline now and begin cultivating relationships with younger students as they begin exploring careers and companies.
Registration is only $300 and includes access to the virtual platform and all event marketing. Register soon to guarantee your spot. Even in a virtual environment, we will be limiting capacity to ensure quality.
All McKelvey Engineering students are encouraged to participate to:
Connect with engineers, scientists, WashU alumni and HR professionals representing a number of companies and industries
Learn about internships and full-time opportunities in industry
Discover the broad scope of career paths available as an engineer
More than 50 organizations will be participating, representing Fortune 500 companies to startups. The complete listing of companies will be added at later date, and more information will be available in CAREERlink.
