W&E connects and supports students and alumnae by hosting myriad events, including networking opportunities with the goal of establishing a community for students and alumnae and enhancing the resources WashU offers them.
Women & Engineering Leadership Summit
March 4, 2023

Join our McKelvey Engineering community as we connect through purposeful conversation, learning opportunities, and service. Topics will range from exploring a variety of successful mentoring relationships, panels on allyship and careers, a workshop that covers power and politics and influencing without formal authority, and more.
Our Mission
Women & Engineering is an engagement initiative for McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. W&E provides a supportive community, establishes connections, and promotes career development opportunities for alumnae, students, faculty and staff, who identify as women with the purpose of:
- Attracting more women into engineering programs within higher education and creating a diverse, open and inclusive environment in career pursuit.
- Strengthening connections to promote the success and advancement of women engineers while maintaining a sense of belonging to the Washington University community.
