Our Mission

Women & Engineering is an engagement initiative for McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. W&E provides a supportive community, establishes connections, and promotes career development opportunities for alumnae, students, faculty and staff, who identify as female with the purpose of:

  1. Attracting more females into engineering programs within higher education and creating a diverse, open and inclusive environment in career pursuit.
  2. Strengthening connections to promote the success and advancement of female engineers while maintaining a sense of belonging to the Washington University community.
