Research

Shi’s research involves studying ion channels into three inter-related research directions: (1) on the fundamental principles of ion channel function, (2) disease-associated ion channel mutations and (3) drugs that target ion channels.

Biography

Jingyi Shi earned a BS at Peking University and a PhD from the Department of Physiology and Biophysics in SUNY at Stony Brook. She completed her postdoctoral training in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University. As a research assistant professor, she is involved in multiple projects in the lab of Professor Jianmin Cui.
