PhD student awarded scholarship from Vertical Flight Society

Cory Seidel was one of 28 students honored in recognition of his talents and interest in vertical flight

Cory Seidel, a doctoral student at the McKelvey School of Engineering, was recently awarded a scholarship from the Vertical Flight Society. The award, worth more than $3,500, honored “the world's most talented engineering students interested in vertical flight.”

Seidel was named one of the top PhD applicants and will be recognized at the VFS Grand Awards Banquet on Wednesday, May 15.
