Sever professor chairs international panel on student engagement

Habib Chamoun-Nicolás, an adjunct professor at the Sever Institute in the McKelvey School of Engineering, chaired a student engagement panel and presented an abstract at the Management, Knowledge and Education Teaching Practice Conference in November.

The conference, titled “A Brave New World: Management Education in the Post-Covid Era,” was hosted by the British Academy of Management in November at Birkbeck, University of London.

Chamoun-Nicolás and his colleagues presented “How to Engage Higher Education Students in a Cross-Cultural Environment.” He is the lead author of the paper with co-authors Francisco Rabadán from Rey Juan Carlos University; and Danielle Lecointre and Maria Victoria Ramirez from the Catholic University of the West.
