Boyd wins Dedicated Service Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Award recognizes service and leadership for at least 10 years

Emily Boyd, teaching professor and director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science in the McKelvey School of Engineering, received the Dedicated Service Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) at the society’s annual meeting, held June 3-6 in St. Louis at the society’s annual meeting, held June 3-6 in St. Louis. The award honors unusual dedicated voluntary service to the society marked by outstanding performance, demonstrated effective leadership, prolonged and committed service, devotion, enthusiasm and faithfulness. The award is presented to selected individuals who have served the organization for at least 10 years.
